22 things I learned at 22…

  1. Sometimes you’ve got to be selfish and put yourself first in order to be happy
  2. Your comfort zone is a nice little place, but nothing grows there
  3. You’ll never be everyone’s cup of tea, and it really doesn’t matter
  4. Memories last forever so go on the trip, as long as you can afford to pay your bills, the rest will work itself out
  5. Bite your tongue, some things are better left unsaid
  6. Hard work does and will pay off
  7. Never stoop to their level
  8. Who cares if you look a little different without your make up on, what would be the point if not?!
  9. Weight gain isn’t the be-all and end-all, it really doesn’t matter and it certainly doesn’t define you
  10. If you fancy some chocolate, or a bacon sandwich, or a pizza, have it and don’t then spend the next few days punishing yourself for it
  11. You don’t need to explain yourself or your decisions to anyone
  12. There’s no such thing as ‘fairness’, don’t dwell on it
  13. Be nice to everyone, no matter what
  14. There’s nothing wrong with saying no to things, don’t burn yourself out
  15. It’s only embarrassing if you’re embarrassed!!
  16. Your thighs are always gonna touch, get the hell over it
  17. Being weird isn’t a bad thing
  18. Everyone has things they’re battling with, no matter how happy they seem, be kind to everyone
  19. Have fun with fashion and banish the word ‘unflattering’ from your vocabulary
  20. It’s the little things that make a big difference
  21. The fear of the unknown is almost always the worst part
  22. You can literally do anything you set your mind to.

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year! 🎅🏽🎉❤️
