Welcome to Blogmas Day 10!
I’ve always had a bit of a love/hate relationship with jumpers. I love them because you can get sooo many gorgeous ones, they’re super cosy and warm and they remind me of Christmas, but at the same time I’ve often found them to be pretty unflattering and hard to style.
This year though, I’ve felt a lot more free when it’s came to styling myself. I’ve not really been as bothered if something isn’t exactly the most flattering thing in the world because at the end of the day, why does something have to make you look as slim as possible to look nice? It doesn’t! These are a few of my fave jumpers that I’ve been looooooving this winter!
This one I’ve literally been obsessed with, it’s the perfect jumper for winter as it’s super thick and cosy and I just bloody love a turtle neck (as you will see in this post…)
Obviously, with it being Winter it was way too cold to go out without a coat so I wore my green H&M parker and black Matalan cable-knit bobble hat to complete the look!
The length of the jumper makes it really easy to style, I tucked it into my Missguided faux suede asymmetrical mini skirt and added my new fave red lippy for a pop of colour!
This jumper is of course another roll neck, a winter jumper is not a winter jumper unless it’s keeping your neck warm! Who needs scarves anyway?
This jumper is a lot longer, making it a little more difficult to tuck into a skirt so I wore my black A-line zip up skirt as it’s slightly more roomy and more or less hid the lumps and bumps of the jumper underneath!
Once again, it was wayyyyy too nippy to go out without a coat so my trusty parker kept me warm! I wore my little black River Island bag across my shoulder and finished the look with some black Ugg boot style boots from Primark (this was not planned but my feet were soooo cold and achey from all the walking in London that they actually ended up being my best ever purchase 😂)
Grey textured-knit polo neck jumper<<<<
jumper is the perfect gorgeous big jumper for those icy cold December days. It's super thick and long and the white and black detail makes it more than just an oversized jumper.
u can probably tell, we were blessed with a bit of sun in London so my Parker actually left my back for a minute or two for the photo! I popped my River Island sun glasses on and wore my yellow New Look scarf to inject some colour. Finally, my fake uggs were amiss as I braved the long walk in my patent leather New Look boots (and regretted it almost instantly).
I hope you’ve enjoyed this post, it’s very different to anything I’ve done before as I’m definitely not a fashion blogger! Let me know in the comments if you’d like to see more posts like this!
