400 Calorie Pizza | Health & Fitness

So if you’re anything like me, you want to be healthy but you don’t want to say goodbye to all of your fave foods which are probs a tad on the unhealthy side then this is defo the post for you! I’m always trying out ways of creating healthier versions of my favourite takeaways and meals and this is a one that has became an absolute favourite between my boyfriend and I!

If you follow me on Instagram (which you totes should) you will have prob seen that I have been lovvvvving making healthy pizza’s recently. And before you run a mile when you see they’re made with tortilla wraps just wait! They’re literally SO good. I had sooooo many people message me asking how they were made so I ran a poll on Twitter (you should follow me on there too!) to see if you would like a blog post on how I made them – and so many people said yes, this has inspired me to start a health & fitness series on my blog, so here is the first of the series! My healthy 400 cal pizza…

<3 Firstly, pre-heat your oven to around 180 degrees

<3 Plan your toppings
If you track your calories this would be the easiest time to weigh them all out so that you’re good to go! I went for 50g peppers40g cherry tomatoes75g bbq chicken chunks, and 40g mozarella cheese

<3 For your base you need any tortilla wrap, I think the white ones feel more pizza-ery (is that a word?) than the wholemeal ones

<3 For the tomato sauce you will need to mix together 1 tbsp tomato puree with 1 tbsp water and some salt and herbs and spread on your wrap (for a more saucy base add an extra tablespoon of puree and water)

<3 Add your cheese! You can use any cheese you like.

<3 Topping time! Add your toppings to your base and place in the oven

<3 Let the pizza cook until all of the cheese has melted (this should take anywhere between 6 and 12 minutes depending on the amount of toppings you’ve added!

<3 And voila, here is your 400 calorie pizza, who needs a takeaway when you can have your own healthy version knocked up in less than 15 mins! The macros are below!

Calories: 397kcal
Carbs: 12.4g
Protein: 30.8g
Fat: 10.5g

Serve with some sweet potato fries to curb your chips cravings! Who needs a cheat day anyway?!

Let me know in the comments if you try this recipe out for yourself!
