Too Faced Sweet Peach Palette Review

If you watched my new video in yesterdays blog post you’ll know that I featured this little beauty as one of my favourite products that I think is going to be perfect for Spring!

Now, I lovveeee Spring, it’s not too cold but not too warm (I mean, I’m in England so not that the seasons really matter to the weather but let’s just pretend for a minute) also my birthdays in Spring (kinda) wooooo, which you’ll 100000% know if you follow me on Instagram, Twitter, or Snapchat hahahah. So yeah I turned 21 last week and my first little splurge with my bday money in true Spring style was the Too Faced Sweet Peach Palette for £39.00!

This is actually my first ever Too Faced product, although I am planning on making another trip to Debenhams very soon to buy the Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara because I’ve been hearing too many good things about it for toooooo long!

But anywayyyy back to my current purchase…I mean firstly just look at that packaging! It’s sooo pretty and it’s giving me all of the Spring vibes, then just when you think it can’t get better you’re hit in the face with the sweetest fruitiest smell of peaches the minute you open the packaging. Although in my opinion the smell isn’t as nice as the chocolate bar palettes, it’s still so much better than the normal eyeshadow smell, and if you aren’t keen on scented products don’t fret, the smell doesn’t linger too long! I was so torn between the two at the counter but decided to go with the the shades I preferred rather than the scent…..

To me, the best thing about this palette is the broad range of tones, initially I imagined it to be full of peaches and peaches only, but thankfully it contains a mixture of basically every colour I could ever want for my eye make up, from matte to shimmery shades!

As you can see from the swatches, the majority of the shades have excellent colour pay off, however some, ironically, the more peachy shades, lack in pigment and require a little extra build up to reach a colour as pigmented as the darker shades. Thankfully, the shades are of a very buttery soft texture and therefore are easy to blend and have little to no fall out!

All in all I’m loving this palette although I am finding that some of the colours, for example, ‘Bless Her Heart’ an olive green shade, are a little random and therefore hard to create a look with the other colours from the Sweet Peach Palette.

I’m looking forward to seeing whats next in store, I mean, we’ve had chocolate, peaches, now what… a blueberry inspired and scented palette?? Let me know in the comments if you’ve tried this palette and if so, what did you think of it? 🙂

Thanks for reading,
