COLLECTION: Fast Stroke Eyeliner perfect for the lid

I’m fully aware by now that I seem to start more or less every post with some kind of disclaimer as to how I’m no expert or make up artist and I’m simply just sharing the products I use, but that definitely needs to be addressed when it comes to eyeliner!

I tend to wear eyeliner with a cat flick pretty much every day but in some cases practice just doesn’t make perfect!

I still have days where I have to wipe my eyeliner flick off and re-do it that many times that my skin is red raw and I feel like throwing my eyeliner at the mirror, this normally ends in me giving up and leaving the house with slightly uneven flicks that no one else seems to notice but it’s all I see when I glance in a mirror.

For a very long time I have used Collection Fast Stroke Eyeliner for the eyelid and for the flick, this was very money convenient as this amazing eyeliner is only £2.99!

However, as time went on I decided to try something a little different when I received Loreal Super Liner So Couture  eyeliner for Christmas. This eyeliner is a little more on the pricey side at £5.30 but I thought I’d try it out because Loreal is one of my favourite high street brands.

(If you haven’t delved much into the Loreal counter I recommend their mascaras, they’re my all time favourite and I also like the Loreal Infallible Sculpt Foundation as a dupe for Estee Lauder Double Wear! <3 )

I did use the Super Liner over my whole lid and on the flick but I found that although the flick went almost perfect, the line above my lash-line imprinted on to my upper lid throughout the day ( 🙁 ).

That’s when I decided to try my beloved trusty Collection liner on the lid, as it had always done the job perfect, but then use my Loreal Super Liner to do the flick as the precision is so much better with the thin pen-like nib.

This is a look that has worked for me and I honestly think these two liners are a match made in heaven!

It may seem a little bit of a faff on using two eyeliners but it’s honestly a hundred times easier than having to wipe off and redo my eye makeup ten times before being able to leave the house!

Let me know in the comments your favourite eyeliners, I’d love to try something new 🙂

Thankyou for reading,
